The DM240 uses an SDR version of the backlight technology found in the XM310K and XM311K with a very similar spectral power distribution. This means that the DM240 is an exceptional perceptual match to these HDR monitors. For Dolby Vision Mastering and other HDR workflows requiring monitoring of both HDR and SDR signals the DM240 allows you to confidently compare signals knowing that the differences you see between HDR and SDR monitors are attributable primarily to the grade and not caused by fundamental differences in technology type.

CFE3 features industry leading tetrahedral LUT interpolation for greater accuracy and visual performance than hardware utilizing trilinear LUT interpolation. DM series monitors support both data (full) range monitoring and video (legal) range monitoring with simple menu based toggles.
